1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using playersguide.ca (“Platform”), you agree to these Service Terms (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any provision, please discontinue use immediately.

These Terms create a legally binding agreement between you and playersguide.ca, operating under BC Gaming License #186484.

2. Participation Eligibility

To participate, you must meet all the following criteria:

• Be 19 years of age or older (BC age of majority)
• Reside in British Columbia, Canada
• Have legal capacity to enter into contracts
• Not be actively excluded via self-exclusion or regulatory directives
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration

We may verify eligibility at any time and request supporting documentation.

3. Account Creation & Security

Registration Requirements

Participation requires an account with:

• Full legal name
• Valid email address
• Contact phone number
• Date of birth
• Province of residence

Security Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining account credentials securely
• All activity under your account
• Promptly reporting unauthorized access or breaches

Account sharing is prohibited; each individual may maintain only one account.

4. Draw Participation

Entry Purchase

Weekly draws occur every Friday at 5:00 PM Pacific Time. Participation includes:

• Selecting an entry package (Foundation, Supporter, Advocate)
• Completing secure payment
• Receiving email confirmation of entries

Guidelines

• Each entry has equal selection probability
• Entries are valid only for the designated draw
• Entries are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable unless required by law
• Per-person entry limits may apply

Draw Selection

All draws use certified random selection technology, monitored by provincial gaming authorities. Draw results are final.

5. Prizes & Awards

Structure

Prize amounts and categories are announced before each draw and are paid in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

Winner Notifications

Winners are contacted via:

• Registered email
• Registered phone number

Response is required within 30 days; unclaimed prizes may be forfeited.

Claiming Prizes

To claim, winners must provide:

• Government-issued photo ID
• Proof of BC residency
• Required tax forms
• Signed prize release forms

Winners are responsible for applicable taxes; playersguide.ca provides necessary tax documentation.

6. Financial Terms

Transactions occur in CAD via approved methods (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, debit cards, and other methods posted on the Platform).

All entry purchases are final; refunds are issued only if:

• Required by law
• Draw is cancelled prior to completion
• Technical errors are proven

7. Community Funding

A portion of all entry revenue supports BC community programs, including:

• Affordable housing
• Education and youth initiatives
• Healthcare improvements
• Environmental projects

Allocation percentages are posted on the Platform in accordance with licensing requirements.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Use the Platform for illegal purposes
• Provide false or misleading information
• Maintain multiple accounts
• Attempt to manipulate or interfere with draws
• Use automated systems or bots
• Resell or transfer entries
• Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
• Violate applicable laws or regulations

Violations may result in account termination, entry/prize forfeiture, and legal action.

9. Responsible Participation

playersguide.ca encourages responsible engagement:

• Set personal spending limits
• Participate only within your means
• Seek support if participation becomes problematic

Self-Exclusion: Contact support@playersguide.cato temporarily block account access and participation.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by playersguide.ca or its licensors. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or derivative works are prohibited.

11. Disclaimers & Liability

We strive for continuous availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.

playersguide.ca is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, data loss, or third-party actions.

Maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for entries in the affected draw.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless playersguide.ca, its staff, officers, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Violations of these Terms
• Violations of law
• Misuse of the Platform
• Fraudulent or illegal activities

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updates become effective upon posting with a revised “Last Updated” date. Significant changes may also be communicated via email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

14. Account Termination

Accounts may be suspended or terminated if:

• Terms are violated
• Accounts are used fraudulently
• Eligibility requirements are no longer met
• Required by law

You may close your account anytime by contacting support@playersguide.ca.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by BC and Canadian law. Disputes are resolved by:

• Good faith negotiation
• Mediation if negotiation fails
• Binding arbitration in BC (excluding class actions)

Exclusive jurisdiction for unresolved disputes lies with BC courts.

16. Regulatory Compliance

playersguide.ca operates under:

• BC Gaming License #186484 (Dec 17, 2025 – Jul 3, 2026)
• Oversight by provincial gaming authorities
• Compliance with all applicable gaming regulations, consumer protection laws, and community gaming standards
